2007 Annual Outing to Hawes

- On Friday 7th September a party of 45 volunteers and
guests were treated to a trip to Hawes to visit the Wensleydale
Creamery and have a look around the town. The volunteers
were all members of the Volunteer Centre's direct service
schemes (Good Neighbour Scheme and DRAG Scheme), or help
with office functions and on the committee. Volunteers
from the Home Library & Information Service also joined
the party, as this service is a partnership between Skipton
Library and the Volunteer Centre. A good time was had
by all and we thank those who made donations towards the
trip: Skipton Charities Gala Committee, Skipton Town Council
and North Yorkshire County Council.
